MAYOR JAVI GRATEFUL FOR HIS TERM, EXPRESSES HEARTFELT APPRECIATION TO VICTORIAS CITY PUBLIC SERVANTS
In his final flag ceremony as City Mayor of Victorias, Congressman of the Third District of Negros Occidental, Javier Miguel Benitez delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude to all city officials and employees for their unwavering support, commitment, and service throughout his term in office, held at the City Public Plaza on June 30.
Looking back on his very first flag ceremony, he recalled it as the beginning of his journey in local governance.
He expressed deep appreciation to everyone who supported him during his adjustment period, especially as he navigated the challenges of being a first-time mayor.
Mayor Javi also led the awarding of SP Resolutions and the recognition of Loyalty Awardees during the ceremony.
Among those recognized were JO1 Jonathan Pasamano Maniego of the Victorias City Jail for his exemplary achievement in the 2025 Gawad Penolohiya Awards during the 1st Quarter Management Conference of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
A resolution was also awarded to Rose Cabrera Bito-on, Hanah De Juan, and Liszel Plaza for successfully passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
In addition, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Victorias City was commended through a resolution for its outstanding performance and steadfast commitment to employment facilitation, as recognized during the 2024 PESO Awards.
The city also honored Loyalty Awardees for the month of June, including Mildred Quindap from City Civil Registrar’s Office for her 35 years of dedicated service, and Jade Bingcang for his 25 years of committed service at the General Services Office.
The ceremony served not only as a farewell for Mayor Javi but also as a moment of recognition and pride for the continued excellence of Victorias City’s workforce. *
