Official City Corporate Seal
Through the Mandate of City Ordinance No. 2023 - 27

Through the mandate of City Ordinance No. 2022-37, the City of Victorias promulgated the adoption of the modified corporate seal which shall be used for various official purposes in the city government.

The new seal incorporated the inscriptions “LUNGSOD NG VICTORIAS” and “PILIPINAS” with gold lining that indicates prosperity and success. The year 1876 and 1998 were also engraved to signify the respective founding years when Victorias was officially established as a municipality and component city of the Province of Negros Occidental.

Furthermore, the stars printed in red represents the Victoriahanon’s strength of character, loyalty, resiliency, perseverance, dedication to service, and strong determination. The inner circle’s three divisions embody of the political, economic, and social aspects of the city's development. Moreover, the 26 nodes in the two sugarcanes represent the 26 barangays while its leaves signify order, serenity, prosperity, and life.

Finally, the stars and colors in the Philippine Flag inspired the upper and lower divisions of the seal.

The modified official city corporate seal was unveiled during the annual Year-end Fireworks Display on December 31, 2023 and officially used from this point onwards.

The official seal of the City was conceptualized and designed by Mr. Eduardo L. Dulaca of the City Engineer’s Office in 1998.

A penal clause was also provided for any person or party who or which will desecrate, vandalize, destroy, abuse, mutilate, deface, defile, cast contempt, omission, dishonor or ridicule or violate the seal; and/or use, resemble, imitate, convert or revise it for their own organizations or agencies.
