VISION:

To provide the Barangay a master plan on disaster management to ensure preparedness and effective response by the barangay on its citizen in the event of a disaster.


MISSION:

To promote family preparedness in times of hazard, calamity and disaster.


GOAL: 

To have zero casualties, less damage to properties and facilities.

Establish and strengthen capacity of communities to anticipate, cope and recover from the negative impact disaster.



OBJECTIVES:

To increase the level of awareness of the community to the threat and impact of all hazards, risk and vulnerabilities.

Reduce vulnerability and exposure of communities to all hazards.


BASIC INFORMATION OF THE BARANGAY

Barangay XX was created under presidential Decree No. 86 issued by Former President Ferdinand Marcos on December 31, 1972. It is one of the Twenty Barangay created by a Presidential Decree.

The Barangay site was acquired thru donation located at had. Cuaycong. On this site rise the barangay hall, Health Center and Schools. The barangay also has Multi-purpose vehicle acquired in the year 1999 and was used as a service vehicle of the Barangay as well as ambulance vehicle during night time.


The health was manned by one (1) Midwife assisted by one (1) Barangay Nutrition Scholar and Thirty Five (35) Barangay Health Workers.


The Barangay has three (3) Barangay Care Center’s located at Had. Cuaycong, Had. Sta. Cruz and Had. Dolores.


PHYSICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL CLASSIFICATION OF THE BARANGAY


LOCATION AND BOUNDERIES: 

The Barangay is located in the Southern part of the city. It is approximately 8 kilometer away from the city proper and a fifteen minutes ride by any public/utility vehicle. It is bounded in the North by Barangay XIX-A and Barangay VIII, in the South by Municipality of E.B. Magalona, in the east by the Barangay VIII and in the West by the Malogo River.


It has a total land area of 1,087 hectares of which 60% of the area of agricultural land and 40% of residential.


It is composed of Nineteen (19) had’s mostly owned by private sector.
