BRIEF HISTORY OF BARANGAY
Barangay XIX is located in the Victorias Milling Company (VMC) Compound it is classified as an urban Barangay composed of 5 zones. Generally, the residents speak Hiligaynon and dominant religion is Roman Catholic.
Barangay XIX has a total land area of 142.20, about 40% of area is industrial while the remaining area are agricultural, institutional and parks are open space.
The Barangay is located in the Victorias Milling Company (VMC) Compound, Victorias City, Negros Occidental. It is 2.5 kilometers away from city/municipality hall and it takes 20 minutes to reach the Barangay hall. It is accessible by Motorcycle and private service. It is bounded on the North of Barangay XIII on the East Barangay XVI, on the West XX and on the South of Barangay XIX-A.
