Barangay VIII composed of 21 Haciendas, which is situated at the center of Barangay 18A, Barangay 12, Barangay 10 and a boundary of EB. Magalona, Negros Occidental and located 7 kilometers away form the City of Victorias with a total Land area of 1,543 Hectares, Barangay VIII is the 2nd largest Barangay in Victorias City and one of the famous landmarks is in the vicinity of Barangay VIII which is the Old Simboryo located at Hda. Felecia I, Barangay VIII, and every last Saturday of the month of October, the Barangay celebrates its SIMBORYO FESTIVAL in Honor to Patron St. Joseph the Worker and the main source of income is from the sugar cane and we have one High School which is Abelardo D. L Bantug Sr. National High School, three Elementary school which is, J.L Suarez Elementary School, Don Jose Gaston Elementary School and Amanda Elementary School, one Health Center located at Hda. Manta-onon, four Day Care Center which is located at Hda. Sangay, Hda. Lobaton, Hda. Gaston and Hda. Amanda, one Barangay Hall, and one Cemetery situated at Hda. Felicia I the celebration of annual Barangay Day on the last Saturday and Sunday of October and the BARANGAY VIII, VICTORIAS CITY is the facebook page of the Barangay.

And it’s a 30 minutes travel/drive by a private car or tricycle/habal-habal from the Victorias City Proper. Most of the Residence is Roman Catholics (90%) with the few others belong to others sector (10%).
